Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited the application for recruitment to the posts of IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS & various other Central Government Service Group A & B. Candidates possessing the bachelor degree in any discipline can apply against this examination subject to fulfilment of other conditions. Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of written test and interview. Written Test will comprise two stages i.e. Preliminary Examination & Mains Examination. Preliminary Examination will comprise two objective type papers carrying 200 marks each. Those who qualify in the preliminary examination will only be allowed to apply for Mains Examination.

Candidates desirous of appearing in the Civil Service Preliminary Examination 2012 can download the advertisement, syllabus, scheme of examinations and instruction for online application. Application is to be submitted online only by visiting the UPSC online application portal.

JNTU University, Kakinada has announced the date for Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET-2012) Notification with ECET 2012 Entrance exam date details. This is the Common Entrance examination will be held for diploma holders on May 24th. For the students who are seeking to enter into Engineering from Polytechnique. the ecet 2012 offcial notification will be published on 17 Feb 2012 along with Syllabus, Exam date and all details as said by JNTUK vice-chancellor G Tulasi Ram Das.
This year Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University- Kakinada will take incharge in conducting ECET-2012.ECET 2012 Application forms and details will be available from all state post offices and in Andhra Banks. Eligible candidates can get these forms by paying Rs.300 and filled application forms should be sent to prescribed address between 18.02.2012 to 02.04.2012. ECET 2012 Applications can also be downloaded from JNTUK website www.jntuk.edu.in.

Within due time : Rs.300/-
Up to 12th April : Rs.500/-
Up to 20th April : Rs.1000/-
Up to 09th May : Rs.5000/-

ECET 2012 Hall Tickets distribution will starts from 23.04.2012 and Engineering Common Entrance Test will held on 24.05.2012. The test will be held from 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM. ECET – 2012 Results will be published on 2nd June followed by distribution of Rank Cards on 08.06.2012 at www.jntuk.edu.in

ECET 2012 Syllabus and Exam Structure

According to syllabus in 2005, 2009, Engineering Common Entrance Test will going to takes place. As same as EAMCET, ECET exam will also have booklet.

For Diploma Candidates: Total marks – 200 (Maths: 50, Physics: 25, Chemistry: 25, 100 Questions from Engineering Subject).
For Pharmacy Students: Total Marks – 200 (Pharmaceutics: 50, Pharmaceutical Chemistry: 50, Pharmacognosy: 50, Pharmacology: 50).
For BSC Maths Candidates: Total Marks – 200 (Maths: 100, Analytical Ability: 50, Communicative English: 50).
