Eenadu Journalism School (EJS) of Eenadu Group has announced admission notification for the PG Diploma courses in Journalism in various streams for the year 2012 - 2013. Eenadu Journalism School is a prestigious journalism training center from Ramoji Group of Companies, Hyderabad. The specializations are available in Print, Television and Web / Internet Journalism. There will be separate batches for each stream. Candidates can apply for any number of streams. EJS, as it is popular, is regarded as highly qualitative in teaching and has state of the art infrastructure at its premises in the famous Ramoji Film City. EJS has made the application process online from this year and Results also will be displayed online on the websites of www.eenadu.net and www.eenadupratibha.net. Following are other details like eligibility, test scheme, download of previous question papers, online application process and old questions papers or model papers:Eligibility Requirements: Candidates should have Graduation in any discipline. Applicant's age should be below 30 years as on 1st January 2012. Candidates should have fair knowledge of English - Telugu languages and current affairs along with minimum computer knowledge. Candidates should have interest in current affairs and service attitude. Duration of the course is one year. After the successful completion of the course, candidates will be absorbed into Newspaper, Television divisions of Ramoji Group. Selected candidates will be posted as Sub-Editor / Copy Editor/ Reporter (Trainee) for one year training after joining in the job. Application Procedure: Candidates should apply online for Eenadu Joournalism Courses only through www.eenadu.net or www.eenadupratibha.net. They should pay application fee of Rs. 50 in the form of DD drawn in favor of 'Ushodaya Enterprises Private Limited' ans payable at Hyderabad. Print outs of online application forms along with DD should be sent to 'Principal, Eenadu Journalism School, Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad- 501512'.
Terms and Conditions: Candidates shall be paid as per the details given below. First 6 months During Course Training, they will get Rs. 7000 per month as stipend and for later 6 months during Course Training, you will be paid Rs. 9000 per month. And after completion of the course and absorption as trainee , you will get Rs. 11000 per month (For both print and TV streams) and on probation you will be paid Rs. 17000 per month for Print and Rs. 12000 per television and Rs. 13000 for Web Writing as stipend. All the selected candidates must work in the Ramoji Group for at least three years and should submit a bond to this effect.
Selection will be made based on Written test Consist of Translation, Current Affairs, English Language, General Knowledge etc. After written test, Candidates will have to attend for Interview and also for Group Discussions if necessary. Model Questions Papers / Old Papers of Eenadu Journalism School will help you in understanding the exam pattern, nature of questions and marks for various sections.Candidates can also inquire at the EJ School for Old question papers of Eenadu Journalism School.
